The outbreak and impact of the Corona Virus (COVID 19) on our regular life was not known and was even unimaginable to most of us. We have seen many Hollywood movies on pandemic but never thought that we may have to live this day. It has given unprecedented shock to the Indian economy. If economists are to be believed, we have moved back 20 years. On 26 May, CRISIL has indicated that the current recession due to COVID will perhaps be India’s worst recession since Independence. World Bank and rating agencies had revised India’s growth for FY 2020-21 with the lowest figure India has ever witnessed in three decades since India’s economic liberalization in the 1990s. In short, we may conclude that the economic impact of the 2020 coronavirus pandemic in India has been largely disruptive. One may give endless examples has how employees are being fired, salaries are being reduced and there seems to be no hiring in next one financial years. However, we are not here to details the COVID but to discuss way and approach towards life hereafter. This is what we do in our mentorship program.
